We worked with Ocupop and W3C to figure out the user experience, user interface, and design of W3C's upcoming validator suite product.
The first step was to define the roles and workflows so that we could truly understand who we were building this product for.
We then created a basic site map that helped us understand the depth and breadth of the product.
Once we had a good understanding of the product we were building and who we were building it for, I created some wireframes that explored how we might best present the UI and information.
The jobs screen helps users visualize the health of their job and the pages that have been crawled within it.
The URL screen gives you an in-depth look at the validation for a specific url, with the ability to dive deeper if needed.
